About The Good RideThe Good Ride is a site created by one guy (the editor) who was having trouble finding reviews that would help him buy gear that suited his riding style. The more snowboarding gear he tried the more he started keeping a log of what he discovered. He also liked to have his friends try his gear and add their feedback to his. This site is the evolution of that log. We now hope The Good Ride helps you figure out what snowboarding gear suits you to make a regret free purchase.  Russel Baldrige aka Rusty- Pretty serious gear whore. Years Riding- 15 Years Addicted- 12 Average Days a Year- 70-100 Was an instructor and Backcountry guide for many years and worked in shops just to be by the gear. Likes and rips just about anything but really excels in Backcountry Riding. |

 Eli Sheiman Years Riding- 16 Years Addicted- 12 Days a year 30-50 (mostly powder) Grew up riding in the Pacific Northwest with Temple Cuminns. Eli is comfortable anywhere but you will usually see him maching down steep runs when its dumping. |

 Mary "Sunshine On My God Damn Shoulders" Adam Years Riding- 14 Years Addicted- 14 Average Day's on the hill- 20-100+ depending on travel and injuries and work ;-) 2 Time Collegiate Boarder X National Champ. Also instructed for a few years, entered a few half pipe contests in her day and even won a pond skim contest. Mary will rip anything except rails. She talks a lot of trash but backs it up. |

 Peter Sheiman- Rider and Eli's Little Bro Years Riding- 10 Years Addicted- 8 Days A Year- 30-50 Spent most of his life following his brother but now is comfortable anywhere. Park, Rails, Pipe, Pow, Jumps and Steep/Sketchy terrain. Likes to straightline everywhere he can and occasionally dry humps a snow angel. |

 Heather Mynatt (pronounced MyNut) Years Riding - 14 Years addicted- 8 Average Days A Year- 30-60 Likes to mach down groomers, steep runs, hit a jump or 3 and the half pipe. She is faster than most men. Mynatt is a blue ball of fury. |

 Wendy Nishikawa Years Riding 15 Years Addicted 15 Days a Year- 30-50 Rides like a bat out of hell and lives for powder. She usually rides big sticks made for men and is all freeride. |

 Helaine Mandelbaum Years Snowboarding- 7 Years Addicted- 5 Days A Year- 20-30 Helaine is an intermediate to advanced rider. She can keep up with just about any group and despite her robotic knee really pushes it to get to the next level. She is most comfortable on groomers and likes to make snow angels. |

 Kyle Maness Years Riding 12 Years Addicted 12 Days a Year- 30-70 Kyle likes to Ride fast and push it as much as he can. He lives in the park and will ride everything in it. |
