Contour GPS HD Camera Review

Contour Makes 2 cameras that both look very much alike.  The only difference is one has GPS and one doesn't.  This is our take on the Contour GPS HD Camera.  We haven't come across someone that has anything really bad to say about their contour camera. The Contour has a slightly lower profile than the Drift and has a much better/low profile helmet mounting option than the Go Pro.  You can wear this on your helmet and not look like a tele tubby.  It sit's very well on the side of your helmet and although it's still noticeable it's not going to hit the Gondola door as you walk in.  There are a few unique features that the Contour has over other cameras like the Drift and GoPro.  
1. The Contour has a tall setting that will film the shot in 960HD
2. The Contour has laser sighting so you can make sure your filming angle is lined up.
3. The Contour has GPS so you can get your speed, vertical feet ect.
4. The Contour has the ability to link with your smart phone via bluetooth to give you the ability to preview your videos and configure your settings.  Right now it works with iPhones but Android is coming shortly.
The Record button might be our favorite part of this camera.  It's big and easy to slide into place. If you are going to primarily use a video camera on your helmet or need GPS integrated with your camera then this is the best when it comes to low profile.  With an attachment you can mount this on an X Shot Monopod Extender and film like you would on a GoPro or Drift Camera but we'd like to see a screw option on the bottom so we don't have to buy an extra part.   This is a great low profile cam and is great for skiiers who mainly film from their helmet but it's a little difficult to mount on a monopod which is incredibly fun to use for snowboarding.
