Montrail Enduro Sole and Enduro Sole LP Snowboard Boot Foot Bed Review

A Good Ride Favorite!
The Montrail Enduro Sole and Sole Soft Tech Foot Bed are some of the best fitting customizable insoles before shelling out a small fortune for custom orthotics.  We feel both Sole and Montrail are better options than their competitor Superfeet. The Montrail Enduro Sole is a softer version Sole Soft Tech and is hands down the best for shock absorption. We like the Enduro Sole the best but the Enduro Sole LP which stands for Low Profile is pretty good as well if you have a tight fit in your boot.  Here are 2 reasons why Montrail Enduro Sole is pretty good.
1. Most inserts come in individual sizes IE 7, 8, 9, 10 ect. Most are 7-9, 9- 11 ect.
2. You can heat mold these to fit your foot. Superfeet and most of the competitors cost twice as much for this option.
We like the Enduro Sole even more because Montrail did a circular cut in the plastic bottom at the heel to allow cushioning all the way through to the bottom.  The blue circle in the picture is the cushioning we are talking about.  This interacts much better with the shock absorption that is all ready built in the heal of all snowboarding boots.   Almost all snowboard boot insoles are low profile so the LP's are the safest fit but we prefer the non low profile inserts the best.   Be very careful if you are going to put these in the oven to heat mold them.  We ruined our first pair by leaving them in 30 seconds too long.

Excellent insoles

I was really impressed with these insoles. The cushioning on the heel pad is really nice and the best I have seen. The Enduro Sole might be a bit of a tight fit with most snowboard boots, they were for me so I use them in my everyday sneakers (Supra Skytops) and my feet are in heaven. I have noticed my feet don't sweat as much since I have been using them. The top sheet wicks away moisture which I really have noticed. The enduro soles state 6 mm and the enduro sole LP are 5 mm so if your boot is a bit of a tight fit you might consider those. I had a bit of difficultly finding a Montrail supplier so I ordered them online from their site. The order was quickly shipped with no issues.
