The Good Ride TakeThese gloves don't have a nose wipe, goggle wipe or any immenities you have become acustomed to and for some reason we love these gloves! We usually aren't fans of all leather gloves either but there is something so comfortable about them that makes us not care. The finger dexterity is just about as good as any slim fitting glove and they have enough room to comfortably fit a small to medium liner if you get cold. The wrist enclosure seems like it would not fit as well as other gloves since it has one zipper up the side. If you have an average sized wrist and hand these gloves will fit perfectly. If you have hands that don't seem to work with the average glove sizing then you might want to look into gloves that have a velcro strap and a mid wrist tightening system. The leather seems to have 2 types. One that seems softer on the palm size and another that is thicker on the back. There are also rubber knuckle and finger pads on each glove that almost look like leather. The Good Ride's Take on Leather- Leather is very comfortable, very resistant to cuts when you grab a rail and very form fitting. The biggest issue we have with leather is how wet it can get. Now with so many good water proof inserts that have up to 25K waterproofing it will not soak all the way through if you buy the high end gloves. Once soaked they don't dry as fast as other materials out there. So If you ride in dry weather and have little interaction with the snow you will enjoy the positives of owning a leather glove. If you live in wet weather then you might want to consider other materials or try to keep the leather to a minimum.
