The Good Ride TakeIt doesn't get nutty with the leather. It's just on the palms and isn't as absorbant or thick as the other leather palm gloves out there. These gloves are made for liners so with out them they have a little space between the glove and the fingers. The dexterity isn't like a spring glove but better than most gloves that come with liners. However when the liners are in they feel more like an extension of your fingers. They are still bulky but the liners are thick and is what you get when you need alot of warmth. They do go up the wrist a way so it will help you on those pow days. It also has a little zip pocket on the top. Overall this is a great purchace if you want just one type of glove for almost any type of weather. The Good Ride's Take on Leather- Leather is very comfortable, very resistant to cuts when you grab a rail and very form fitting. The biggest issue we have with leather is how wet it can get. Now with so many good water proof inserts that have up to or more than 20K waterproofing it will not soak all the way through to your hands if you buy the high end gloves. Once leather is soaked it doesn’t dry as fast as other materials out there. So if you ride in dry weather and have little interaction with the snow you will enjoy the positives of owning a leather glove. If you live in wet weather then you might want to consider other materials or try to keep the leather to a minimum. |
