The Good Ride TakeA few other things....... These gloves look pretty sturdy for the price....especially around the fingers. They can handle a little rubbing of snow off your bindings to get your boots on . They are also not represented well in the picks. The gloves labled black are actually black and grey. The other gloves are what they say they are but the black gloves arent. Another interesting thing about these gloves is they have a piece of material stitched in between the thumb and index finger that seems to restrict your movement but we actually like this. These gloves are also tight around the wrist when it comes to getting your hands in and out but they are also tight around the wrist when they are on. The silicone grip for 2010 covers more than 50% of the palm and the rest of the material is very stretchy and smooth. All in all these are our choice for spring/warm weather gloves. The Good Ride Take on POW Gloves The Good Ride’s Favorite Glove Company! We feel that POW is really on top of their game right now and makes some of the best gloves in the industry at a very fair price. POW is still small and well managed and that we feel is one of the reasons they are doing so well. From what we can tell there are 3 things that make their gloves better than the rest. 1. Their very smooth lining that allows your hands to get in and out of no matter how wet. 2. Their exceptional waterproofing. Their high end gloves have an insert called Hipora that is comparable to Gore-Tex and offers 20K waterproofing/breathability. 3. They make gloves that fit well and last a long time. If you are looking for gloves then go over the POW line and find what works for you. You won’t be disappointed and will save money.
