The Good Ride TakeThe Oakley Crowbar Snowboard Goggle Review By The Good RideDays with the Oakley Crowbar goggles- too many to count We have owned many generations of Oakley crowbar goggles. For most of us at the good ride the crowbar is the perfect mid sized goggle and a nice step up in size from the Oakley A-Frame. For most of us at The Good Ride the A-Frame is too small and not as helmet friendly but most of us have mid sized face. The biggest differentiate between Oakley goggles and the rest to us is not the optics but the way they fit on the face. It makes us think there really is something that works with their triple foam tech. We really haven't experienced a rider that has any issues with the way the foam fits on their face. This works from day one. There is good but not excellent venting so if you are a person who seems to steam up your goggles a lot then you might want to look for something else but if you are an average rider it will be hard to fog these goggles. We have tried almost every lens and must say that the view is always clear. The H.I lenses are our personal favorite. They seem to add some clarity and depth perception over the regular lenses and don't break the bank. The polarized lenses are amazing but you really add a bit to the price tag. We can't really attest to the lenses having optical perfection but they seem to be right up there with every high end goggle. The one thing we have noticed is the various tints don't seem to really stand out like other goggles. This is hard to explain but even with the tints the view seems less lively compared to other goggles. We think this might the goal of Oakley so you can focus on what is coming at you at high speed. All in all this is one great goggle and worth the money. Many people swear by the optical clarity but we feel you want to get these goggles if you want a perfect fit for the average size face.Company InfoCROWBAR SNOW GogglesLong before it became a global leader in sunglass technology, Oakley was obsessed with inventing the world’s best goggles. Long before it became a global leader in sunglass technology, Oakley was obsessed with inventing the world's best goggles. Crowbar Snow is the latest milestone of that 25-year obsession. The lightweight and flexible O Matter frame is combined with optically pure Plutonite to achieve impact protection that meets all ANSI Z87.1 standards while providing 100% UV filtering. Crowbar Snow is the first Oakley ski goggle with struts to balance and distribute the frame pressure for a comfortable fit. Silicone backing keeps the strap in place. Triple-layer fleece face foam gives you all-day comfort while wicking away perspiration. The extended lens size is matched with curvature that opens your peripheral and downward view, and the patented innovations of High Definition Optics (HDO) maintain startling clarity at every angle of vision.

I bought these with a high visability yellow lens for night ski at Keystone this year. I will say that they are very comfy with great range of vision and the lens itself is fantastic. it really helped knock down the glare from the lights and I could see better at night than without anything on my face at all. However I will say that you are paying for the Oakley name a bit here. I have a pair of Smith goggles that are kind of a midrange pair with just a regular persimon lens that i would wear any day over the oakleys. the oakleys are not fog proof though not bad. and the dont seem to fit to helmets quite like some other goggles do. Still a great goggle but if you can get away from the Oakley name, there are much better out there for the price.
