Most people probably think they are all the same, but the variety that you encounter is a varied as any other pice of equipment you have to decide upon, maybe even more so due to the more technical level of the subtle differences. Finding the right set for you is something that can only be decided through lots of trial and error and goggles being that which protects your windows to the world, dealing with the errors can be a bitch. A goggles propensity towards fogging up would be the most significant and annoying problem that can present itself when riding. Fogging typically only occurs In really moist or really cold conditions, but when it starts it usually marks the beginning of the end. In the field trying to deal with this pain in the ass problem is only going to ruin your day and it would seem as though whomever is in the Anon lab has got the recipe to keep fog from affecting you while you ride despite the fact that you just happen to like the coldest moistest days. I mean that is pretty much the best time to be riding anyway. The next spec that has to be considered would be the field of vision which you are afforded by the different companies. Anon’s line of goggles has always been the perfect fit, riding snug to the face, sleek and wrapping far enough to each side so as to allow you to see the mistakes you are about to make. After fogging, the fit, which may take years for you to realize makes a difference is the biggest concern. Used the smoke lenses, rode in the sun all day and they worked great. Peripherals were great, didn't even notice they were on after a little bit. Wore them with a helmet and they worked great!
