These guys are the pioneers of skate protection so they should know how to keep a dome safe on a usually softer surface like snow. The one issue is the lack of venting. It just doesn't have much and will suck if it isn't a cold day. If you run cold then this is a good low cost solution to protect what ever you have between your ears.
