$30 Single Shot & $59 Twin Tip/Double Shot. Just Like the Others Like all other the Smith Skull Candy audio ear pads don't have great audio but for snowboarding they are soo much safer than using the in ear head phones. It is much easier to hear and the safest way to listen to music while still retaining situational awareness. You can also hear what people are saying about you on the chair. Both the Single Shot and Twin Tip have a button you can press that acts as a pause button for most of the devices you would be listening to. We found this to work with Droid Phones, iPhones and iPods but it didn't work for Scan Disc MP3 players. This is different than the Giro insert that works with smith helmets as well that only provide a mute button instead of a pause button. The Twin Tip is a good idea but when you apply this to practical use it doesn't fair so well. The cell phone hook up doesn't work very well outdoors so it pretty much defeats the whole purpose of answering a call on a chair. You have to hide the mic inside the jacket to make an intellegible call. We have found that just using the cell phone is better than the Smith attachment. You can listen to these as loud as possible but they don't block out all sound. They are no better or no worse than any other audio insert on the market.
Smiths Skullcandy Single-Shot audio system for your ski and snowboard helmet allows for hands free music listening. The included standard audio jack makes the connection perfect for MP3 players, Cod players, and cassette decks. The system comes complete with a removable connection cord and adjustable cord.
