2012 Good Wood Award Winner
The Nitro T1 has been around for a while and one of Nitro's top selling boards.  The Good Wood riders like the the T1 so it shows that camber still has it's places especially in the park. This has a good ammount of spring and is pretty playful anywhere in the park.  The T1 is a far better choice over the T1 Zero and the call for any serious park rider.  Bamboo has some good qualities and bad qualities.  It's really springy and very flexy so it can make for a very fun ride in the park but when picking up speed it can get pretty chattery and have less than the best feel.  So if you are looking for a soft springy camber park board for jibs and jumps this might be a good call.

Standard Camber camber

Since the T1 is so many things to so many riders we decided to add a camber edition to this board line. It will add extra snap for pop and stability in landings. On top of all of that we have made great even better by adding our Reflex Core Profile. This combo provides an ultra snappy board with a full body flex. The T1 is easy to manipulate at slow speed for tech tricks, but it still has tons of control for when you’re pointing it. The Railkiller edge is 100% thicker and with longer teeth to combat the harsh impact on all types of rails. The T1 has proven itself once again this season by winning in numerous readers’ choice board tests, so go get some!

T1 first 2 rides

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
First, let me say that I live in the North East - what does that mean? I don't see too much "real powder". I got a new Nitro T1 this year, and so far have ridden twice, both times on completely artificial snow.

It's a bumpy ride on the packed powder, and my knees felt it at the end of the day. However, the lightweight board is easy to maneuver and flip around on demand, and the edges grab and hold real nicely with the changing conditions (with factory tune). I'm riding a wide board, so no toe drag. It's got decent pop and spring - I can ollie much higher than I did with my previous Burton Custom. Riding switch feels more natural with this board, and I'm able to hit tabletops coming in switch to darkside now that I have some confidence in the board - something I never did with the Burton.

Overall, this is definitely a nice board, the best I have ridden (over Ride and Burton)... for the price range, it's a taker. Graphics are nice too.
