Flow makes unique bindings and for the most part started the whole quick release thing. The NXT AT is more of their all mountain binding. There design hasn't changed much over the years and we'd like to see a little more shock absorption. So far we haven't seen another quick release binding completely out do a Flow but we have seen traditional bindings out perform Flow and other quick release bindings. So it's up to you to determine if sacrificing a little to a lot of performance is worth the convenience of quick release.

The NXT-AT is Flow’s most versatile and performance-oriented all-mountain snowboard binding, and many team riders’ favorite choice. The unique design of the rockered aluminum baseplate is lightweight and offers sharper response, letting the snowboard flex naturally and the fiber reinforced hi-back is the ultimate combination of response and flexibility.

When the world’s most progressive and aggressive freestyle team says “It ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” we listen. Well, sort of. For ’09 we made some updates and improvements to this team favorite, because like them, we are never satisfied. The AT’s new 14% glass-filled Nylon Ventilated hiback, has been re-engineered, and mounted with our new Free+ Snaplock for enhanced performance and adjustability. Synchronous Length Adjustment (SLA) means proper adjustment in half the time. You also get superior cushioning from the Cush Pad basepad, and the two EVA-loaded independently-adjustable toe and heel landing pads. The new NXT-AT never looked so good.
