Burton Super Pipe Glove Review

It's not a bad glove but it has a strange fit. The finger dexterity is pretty good but it sits a little loose and wrinkly. The neoprene at the wrist closure also is not very snug fitting. It looks cool but doesn't integrate well with the glove. The positive side to this is the rubber palm and the goretex insert. It also has one hell of a gripy palm. If you spend alot of time with your hands in the snow this isn't a bad choice.

Sometimes a name can be deceiving. The Burton Superpipe Glove is a perfect example of this. Sure it’s totally super, that part is legit. But it has very little to do with either quarterpipes or halfpipes. It should probably have just been called the Burton Super Glove, because as you can tell, it is a super glove not a super pipe. Most pipes are pretty waterproof though, and this glove does have our super rugged DRYRIDE Ultrashell™ 2L fabric, as well as the Guaranteed To Keep You Dry™ GORE-TEX ® insert. Unlike most pipes, though, this Superpipe is lined with the lightweight warmth of brushed microfiber and woolly pile fleece for lightweight warmth and quick-drying comfort.
