It's an ok protective glove at a reasonable price. It does it's job but it also say's look I'm wearing protective gear by having the protection on the outside instead of the inside like the burton gloves.

The shell is reinforced with grippy PVC-coated Toughtek palms and highly abrasion resistant Clarino synthetic suede. The lightweight internal aluminum stay and adjustable hook-and-loop wrist support give all the protection of a separate wrist guard without the bulk. The full-length, over-the-cuff gauntlet seals out snow with a one-handed, super-cinch drawstring closure.
