Discontinued 2012
Intermediate to Expert All Mountain Freestyle
Continuous Rocker twin Like Directional Shape
We liked the Bob Ross version from 2010 better and Bob might be cooler than the Scheme however this isn't a bad choice for a very soft all mountain jibber.  The Scheme has the shape and a lot of tech that makes it seem very good for all mountain riding.  It's very similar to the Burton Custom V Rocker in shape but its much softer.  It's by far the softest board in the All Mountain Rocker category.  This jib all over the mountain snowboard has a problem if you try to get any real speed going on a firm day you will be very dissapointed.  The continuous rocker and soft flex does not really help when it comes to aggressive mountain riding.  that being said the Scheme is really fun to hang out in the park and really fun in moderate amounts of powder.  It will be a night and day type of difference when it comes to riding camber.   So if you ride at a small mountain, like to go slow and get everything out of a run outside and inside the park the Scheme might be a good choice.  Also if you are a jibber who likes to get a little more out of your powder day the scheme will work pretty well.  Just make sure you are riding in good conditions and arent that heavy.  Not much has changed when it comes to the design and tech of the scheme between 2010 and 2011.  We actually like the 2010 better just because it has Bob Ross.

The Good Ride Take

The Good Ride Take on Continuous Rocker
This is where it all started or re-started in the Mid 2000’s. In the beginning Continuous Rocker was mainly for park and powder. Today it's still pretty much made for the same 2 functions. There are a few boards that are made for all mountain to freeride use but most of those have migrated to hybrid shapes.  Continuous Rocker helps you maintain a catch free forgiving ride which is excellent for beginner riders or those who ride at slower playful speeds through the park.  Almost every one we have tried has to be on edge or it will wander giving you that squirrely feeling like a skateboard with loose trucks.  The biggest issue is it isn't very stable flat basing or one footing in firmer snow.  Continuous rocker is for the most part really poppy and helps you generate your own air.  There are many styles of this shape so this could be a good choice for beginners, park rats and people who only ride powder.

Forum Scheme 2011 Description

Opposites attract. The Scheme is built to make the whole mountain your personal park. Combine the ChillyDog Continuous Rocker with a twin-like shape and a soft flex profile and you get a fun, forgiving freestyle board that’s capable of handling the top-to-bottom slash, drop, spin, jib line.

Forum Scheme 2010 Description

$449.99

Happy little tree jibs. Happy little landings. Happy little slashes. This smiley ride is a throwback to before royalty checks, autograph sessions and the X Games when Saturday mornings were about sugar cereal, five channels and happy boarding. High-resolution landscapes from the private Bob Ross collection turn a blank canvas into a piece of rec room art, while easy cruising geometry keeps both powder hounds and park rats on cloud nine. Bob was the original DIY artist and this board is no happy little accident.
