The Fun Kink can do a good job anywhere in the Jib park. The Fun Kink has Bataleons triple base tech that makes the board like one big catch free spoon and also kicks up the nose so the board acts shorter than it is. The way triple base works is it has the pop from camber and the catch free feel of rocker boards. It's also very stable for a jib board. The only issue with Triple camber is it doesn't perform very well in powder. This shouldn't matter if you are in the Jib park all the time. For 2012 the effective edge was shortened up a little bit to make the board a little more playful and catch free. It's still the same Fun Kink but just a little more improved than 2011.

ABOUT THE FUN.KINK For a good time, you can always call on the Fun.Kink. It will make you feel better than last season doing the same stuff but with more pop, better presses and bigger than you normally would. And it's still super forgiving! The first three letters say it all, this board is as FUN as it gets. Catch free, super forgiving and very playful thanks to Triple Base Tech and a perfect soft flex.

INGREDIENTS

FREESTYLE.TBT

FREESTYLE TBT*: Centre base has a medium width and the TBT increases with a constant angle.

TOUGH CORE

Made with pressure bonded wood composite technology. Very hard to break yet very flexible Especially designed for reaching soft jib flex without sacrificing strength.

EXTRUDED BASE

Easy to repair and can take a good beating. Low maintenance, still slides well with irregular waxing (but waxing is always recommended of course!).

PRECISE PATTERN

The 4X2/20 insert pack enables you to put your bindings on with scientific precision.

BI AX LAMINATE

Bi-ax laminates over and under the woodcore creates an easy flax with lots of feel.

HAMMER EDGE

Hammer Edges are thicker, stronger and more
durable than your average edge.

Bataleon Fun Kink 2011

The FUN.KINK is how it sounds, a fun board to jib around with a good flex to boardslide kinks. This board is perfect for urban jibbing, cruisin' parks and serious fun all over the hill. We blessed it with a 4x4 extra-wide insert pattern to enable a healthy wide stance.
The base just glows in the snow sending of flashes when you unleash the Power Pop that comes preloaded with our proved and pat- ented Triple Base Tech. 'Nuff said now take this board out and have FUN! Yeah for it!

Bataleon Fun Kink 2010

This board spells F.U.N. Everyone has different ideas of fun. For some of you it's the bliss of throwing a hardway down some crazy kink, for others it's popping a nollie frontflip off something stupid and of course there are those that think being strapped down and peeed in the face is fun, but lets not get into that kinda stuff. For all of you that just like shredding with the fun button turned all the way up, the Fun.Kink is your stick. Throw it down a rail, hit a kicker, do whatever. We stopped counting the Dude-this-is-the-funnest- board-I've-ever-been-on-raves but that doesn't mean we don't love to hear that stuff.
