Here is Some More Detail on "How It Rides"
Groomers-
How well does a board ride on groomed runs? Is it fun to ride all over the mountain?
Powder- How well does the board ride in the fun stuff? Excellent is bottomless, Good is deep, Average is shallow and Rough is not very good.
Turn Initiation- How fast and easy does your board turn? Can you transition from edge to edge easily? It's all personal preference on how you like to turn.  Some people like a board that has an edge that locks-in and takes a lot of effort to initiate the next turn.  Some love it to turn on a dime.  Most beginners want super easy turn initiation but it's up to your riding style after that.
Edge Hold- How well does your board hold its edge in all types of snow conditions? For example, many boards don’t do well on hard pack and ice.
Flex- How easy, or difficult, is it to turn, butter, handle a rail, etc.?
Speed- Does the board have a fast base and does it ride well at high speeds? Does it start to chatter and make you feel like you are hospital bound if you don’t slow down?
Switch- Does your board ride well with either the nose or foot forward?
Carving- Is the board able to get your belly to the snow on a hard turn and help you spring out of it, or does the tail wash out with aggressive turns?
Pipe- How comfortable does it feel climbing the pipe walls to get you into the air, and more importantly, how easy is it to come back down?
Rails/Jibbing- Does the board easily perform skate-like tricks? Can the board handle an extra beating to the base and rails? Will you feel comfortable on rails, boxes and other features in the park?
Jumps- How well does a board ollie and hit small and big jumps?
Weight- How light is the board?
