$449 Intermediate to Expert Freestyle Hybrid Rocker Twin Shape Previous Good Wood Award Winner The Ollie Pop in 2011 has C2 BTX which we feel is better in almost every situation over the old 2010 BTX snowboard. There is still a fun catch free feel but you can take this out on the mountain and make some decent turns without washing out. There is also an added stability from having a little bend in the tail. It's not as stable as hybrid camber but it's getting close. As with all hybrid rocker boards they are great in almost all conditions except hard pack snow. Because of the centered stance it's closer to average if you like to set your board back for directional powder riding but good if you like to center the stance and ride switch. The Ollie Pop will hold an edge very very well but it will have a very loose feel that some people hate when one footing and flat basing the board. This is most prevalent when riding in hard pack and almost un-noticable in softer conditions. Most people get use to this but if this isn't something you feel you would like then hybrid rocker or continuous rocker won't be your kind of board. For 2012 Roxy mainly refined the 2011 version by making a little less loose between the feet but it's still pretty similar to the 2011 ride. All in all the Ollie Pop is a fun board for anyone who wants a do everything freestyle snowboard.
This is what we call a snowboard that has rocker in the center and then a camber bend at the tip and tail. The end result is the tip and tail are still off the ground but it helps bring some good qualities that people liked with camber to rocker. The camber usually keep’s the board from washing out when you lay into a harder carve and for the most part provide a more balanced all conditions ride compared to continuous rocker or camber. This is still nothing like camber board and it provides a loose forgiving catch free ride. Hybrid Rocker comes in all riding styles from Freestyle to Freeride and is a solid next step from where it started with continuous rocker. Hybrid Rocker is usually pretty poppy, floats well in powder, catch free and very forgiving. The one complaint is it can still be unstable flat basing or one footing in some conditions like hard pack or ice. The major companies are working on this problem and it’s been getting better since this was introduced. Most love this loose feeling and get use to the squirrely nature in certain conditions. We at The Good Ride feel this is one of the better shapes out there so give it a try.

I've rewritten this review so many times and deleted it. All of it basically saying the same thing in different words.
I love the Ollie Pop.
The camber at the ends of the board give it that extra control needed for bombing down the mountain. It's also playful without the looseness of a rocker only board. Let's not forget the board is called Ollie Pop and rightfully so. It's springy! Lots of pop and air, even when you're not meaning to get any. Easy to maneuver, lightweight and the graphics aren't crazy. You will let out a "Woo hoo!" or "Yeah!" while riding this board.
It floats on powder effortlessly. The Ollie Pop was purchased as my powder board, but I find it to be my choice on every trip. Just can't beat the ride. Also decided to get a 145 rather than the usual ride size of 138.
