Bataleon Airobic Snowboard Review

Intermediate to Expert Freestyle and Jib
Triple Base Hybrid Camber Twin Shape
The Bataleon Airorbic has been designed to be almost as catch free as a rocker board but has the pop of camber.  At first the Airobic's design was pretty much the only one like this but over the last few years you started to see variations of this design.  In this situation imitation is flatery.  Now there are many boards that have tried variations of tripple base tech by spooning the nose or raising up parts of the rail to reduce contact with the snow. To us all of those designs although good aren't as good as the Airobic's design.  This is a snappy fun jib to some places of the park board.  For 2012 Bataleon shortened up the sizes but added more of an effective edge so you get about the same board for the size.

ABOUT THE AIROBIC

This is the board for those who don't want to care about which way is what. This is the go-to park board with a perfect twin park flex and shape. Rails, kickers, jibs, even on the streets this board feels at home. Extra wide TBT stables you out everywhere, but still keeps its forgiving mindset. Nothing but catch-free good times.

INGREDIENTS

JIB.TBT
NEW! JIB TBT*: The TBT starts under the bindings, the centre base is a bit wider than on other boards.
CORE CORE
Poplar core with hardwood enforcements along the insterts rows. This increases the core strenght of your board and channels all energy into more pop.
EXTRUDED BASE
Easy to repair and can take a good beating. Low maintenance, still slides well with irregular waxing (but waxing is always recommended of course!).
PRECISE PATTERN
The 4X2/20 insert pack enables you to put your bindings on with scientific precision.
BI AX LAMINATE
Bi-ax laminates over and under
the woodcore creates an easy
flax with lots of feel.
LIGHTNING EDGE
Thinner Lightning Edges enable you to carve with more feeling and precision.

2011 Bataleon Airorbic
The Airobic was introduced last season and immediately became a team favourite. This true twin shape has the softest flex ratio of our twin range. Combined with the skate-concave-like shape of our patented Triple Base Technology it is one of the most playful boards in the range. Add to that a bit of positive camber that gives you a landing gear you can trust on when doing your airobics. Yeah for it!
