Advanced to Expert Freeride Big Mountain

2011 Below- Tapered Directional Triple Base Camber Shape
2012- Tapered Directional Triple Base Hybrid Camber Shape
Bataleon's Freeride board.  The triple base tech is unique to the industry but some companies are offering something similar to some of their freestyle boards lately.  The base is flat in the middle and then it curves up at each edge so you don't catche edges as easy. It's almost flat between the feet for better edge hold but then curves up more as you reach the tip and tail.  You won't notice much or any difference on softer days but in hard pack there is a bit of a difference and it takes a little more effort to get on edge. Tripple base tech seems to make the board more catch free which is interesting for a freeride board.  For 2012 Bataleon made a smart move with the Undisputed and changed the shape of the nose to make the float in powder a lot more easy. There is still camber on the rest of the board but the nose turns up a lot earlier than it use to There isn't much sacrafice on non powder days when it comes to carving out turns and there is more benifit when it comes to effortless float in powder.

ABOUT THE UNDISPUTED

This is our ruthless all mountain directional killer. It's like a limo on crack, taking the mountain with stability and speed. The new and improved TBT nose dynamics dramatically increase the float in powder and make this board perfect for blasting through all snow conditions with a smile. The directional TBT makes it carve like a butcher's knife through fresh pork. This board is not for the weak of heart and it comes with an extra 'backseat' insert position for the deep, deep days. Destroy everything!

BACK SEAT INSERTS
NEW! Backseat inserts let you drop your stance all the way back so you can keep riding on those deep, deep days (we actually stole this idea from Kevin Sansalone - thanks Kev!).
PARTY PATTERN
The 4X2/20 insert pack makes every time you put your bindings on a party. Wide stance range with fine tuning.
TRI AX LAMINATE
Tri-ax laminates over and under the core delivers precision in your riding.

Bataleon Undisputed 2011 Company Info

This is the ultimate freeride board built on FREERIDE.TBT. It features a drawn out nose, tapered tail and the whole Triple Base Shape is moved back with the insert's set back pattern. The TBT uplift gives this board extra float to save you from leg-burn. At the same time the undisputed has uncanny carving ability unlike your average powder specific boards. Like powder? going fast? riding trees? laying down carves? dropping cliffs? Look no further, this is your new best friend.

Bataleon Undisputed 2010 Company Info

The Undisputed must be the area 51 of snowboarding. But, like people that have seen aliens, those that know, know and claim this board to be the most amazing freeride board out there. This is not just because of its magic carpet powder floating ability. It gets better with the TBT drawn back making blasting powder turns easier as you initiate turns where your bindings are, not where the big wide powder nose is. What makes it really stand out is that when the powder isn't there or when you are bombing icy slopes or traverses trying to get to it first, the Undisputed has more edge hold and carving ability then any other of those 'specialized' powder boards out there.
