$399 Intermediate to Expert Mostly Mountain to All Mountain Hybrid Camber Directional Twin Flow makes good boards and the Infinite is their all mountain board for any size rider. For 2011 the Infinite had a huge make over. They got rid of the 168 and even more important re-did their camber. The 2011 camber is mostly camber hybrid camber which makes for a camber like ride but with some added float in powder and a little more of a catch free feel. The flow Infinite is a great board to pick up some speed and make some good turns. It's also going to be pretty easy to float in powder. It's not as poppy as a full camber but it has a little more spring than the average flat/rocker board and the same stability. For 2012 the Infinite has just been slightly fine tuned and the ride is very similar to the 2011. The Infinite is a good choice for anyone who likes to spend most of their time on the mountain but ocasionally likes to mix it up in the park. This isn't a bad hybrid camber one board solutionfor the price.
The Good Ride Take on Hybrid Camber For the most part there are two types of hybrid camber that we see out there these days. 1. Mostly Rocker Hybrid Camber This type of ride, like many boards, has camber and rocker but unlike other rockered boards the center has a mini camber. This is usually 1-3mm high, sits only between the bindings and then curves up right after. From a distance this board looks like a rocker board but when you look closer you see the little camber between the feet. This is not as loose as hybrid rocker but it’s very close. It is very stable between the feet and easy to one foot or flat base in any condition out there. Mostly Rocker Hybrid Camber is very versatile. You will see this design on anything from Freestyle to Freeride style snowboards. This will work well with all ability levels and riding styles.
2 Mostly Camber Hybrid Camber There are all types of designs but this type usually looks like a Camber board and rides much closer to an old school Camber board. ONe thing you will notice is usually when you step on the board the tip and tail rise up a lot more than a normal camber board will. Some are mostly camber and others have a bit more rocker but you will always notice they have camber. This allows for a stable, fast carve friendly feeling you get with camber but also makes it more catch free and floaty in powder. This doesn't float effortlessly like hybrid rocker, mostly rocker hybrid camber or flat to rocker but it does better than camber. You will mainly see this on aggressive freestyle to all mountain to freeride style snowboards.
The Infinite is one of the most well rounded snowboards in the Flow line. From park jumps to tree runs, the Infinite can hold up longer than you can ride it. With directional shape, Pop-Cam, Sintered 4000 base, and all new Whiskey Bars carbon reinforcement, feel free to throw any terrain at it and watch the Infinite deliver.
Our Pop-Cam is a three-phase camber to make the most fun cambered snowboard on the market. Under the feet is a traditional camber that is flat between the bindings for added grip on ice, better float in the pow and to lock onto rails, while the tips are mellow for a more forgiving ride. Pop where you need it!
Flow's lightest and most responsive core gives you the highest strength-to-weight wood construction known to man. Focused response where you need it, and more low-to-mid-density woods in specificlocations throughout the board increase strength while decreasing weight, and make your ride all that much easier.
All new Whiskey Rocks tech increases agility while adding pop and grip. Four Basalt plates beneath the heel and toe areas directs the rider's energy to the board's key control surfaces and doubles the breaking strength to increase edge hold in all conditions with a Cadillac feel.
All New Whiskey Bars is a custom V-design using 4 precured carbon plates that loads up the pop without adding stiffness thru a unique shape. Design is aided with a tapered shape towards the nose and tail which increases stability at the highest speeds without chattering through the chunder.
The 0/+30/-30/90 fiberglass & carbon orientation increases pop with the majority of fibers running tip-to-tail giving you stability and torsional freedom between the feet while distributing binding pressure over a larger area from the 30 degree axis fibers for a more natural flexing ride that can't be reached with Triax.
Speed, wax absorption and durability are the main ingredients of the Sintered 4000. This is done through focusing on quality over speed-robbing additives. For an even faster base, the Graphite Sintered 4000 only has speed on its mind.
The DT Sidecut utilizes a combination of two radii. First, a tight radius for quick, responsive carves is blended into a mellow radius right before the nose and tail of the board for rough terrain, high speeds and the forgiveness you need while jumping.
With a little more nose than tail, a setback insert pattern and flex for more performance and better float in powder, the Directional boards in our line thrive in any terrain. From the park to the pipe to the pow, the directional twin takes shape to do it all.

"Infinite" possibilities

I did not know about Flow until I watched this year's X-Games and discovered Lago. I began to research and saw how well rounded all of their boards are. So I went out and bought me an Infinite.
One of the best boards I have ever ridden.
This board is a directional all mountain board with a slightly set back hole pattern. This board can definitely bomb those angled groomers with ease while being able to hold control. Board also does excellent in the Park. I took it through the pipe yesterday and I was impressed! The edge this board holds on the climb is amazing! A month ago in Aspen, CO we had a gnarly powder day with like a foot or 2. This board did exceptionally well for a traditional camber. It held up in the deep stuff while also being able to turn being a little chore. I enjoyed riding this board this season. Taking it up one last time to Vermont in a month before the season ends for Spring!
