$349 Beginner to Expert Freestyle Continuous Rocker Twin If you take a little tech out of the Forum Youngblood Chilidog and change up the sizes you have the Scallywag. Forum makes some good park boards and some ok park boards and this is one of many soft park focused twins in their line. This is one pretty buttery park board for the entry level rider or cheap higher level rider. It is very forgiving and for 2012 the pop was boosted a bit. The name is great but the average edge hold and similarities to other boards in the line make this just a minor change from the Youngblood Chilidog. So if you want to go cheaper than $400 and like the slightly bigger sizing the scallywag could be a good conditions park ride you could like.
The Good Ride Take on Continuous Rocker This is where it all started or re-started in the Mid 2000’s. In the beginning Continuous Rocker was mainly for park and powder. Today it's still pretty much made for the same 2 functions. There are a few boards that are made for all mountain to freeride use but most of those have migrated to hybrid shapes. Continuous Rocker helps you maintain a catch free forgiving ride which is excellent for beginner riders or those who ride at slower playful speeds through the park. Almost every one we have tried has to be on edge or it will wander giving you that squirrely feeling like a skateboard with loose trucks. The biggest issue is it isn't very stable flat basing or one footing in firmer snow. Continuous rocker is for the most part really poppy and helps you generate your own air. There are many styles of this shape so this could be a good choice for beginners, park rats and people who only ride powder.
Pirates drink, fight, screw, and steal, but it can only last so long. Fortunately for you, our Scallywag is more durable than any other, and will allow your park pillaging to go on all day. This twin-tip stick now has ChillyDog with Pop and is soft enough to jib on, yet strong and poppy enough to take on big features, making it the only plank you should walk this winter.
ChillyDog with Pop
Playful, Precise and Poppy. Featuring all the stability, predictability, and forgiving feel of Continuous Rocker, but with special focused Pop zones just outside of your stance. The core profile is matched with poppy sections in the nose and tail, softer between the feet. Load up the increased surface area in the nose or tail for ridiculous ollie power when you need a little extra to get you up and over.

SCALLYWAG. YARRRR… WHO YOU BE CALLING A SCALLYWAG?

Make way for these tattooed rascals in the landing, because they will be stomping their tricks while flat-based riders are sweeping for the buried treasure of their goggles. It’s not the screaming, pillaging or drinking of ale—although that helps—but ChillyDog Continous Rocker that gives this board its mutinous grrrrrr. The continuous rocker floats the board either forward or switch, butters like margarine in the park and prevents hook on its way up and out the transition.
