Flow Muse Snowboard Binding Review

$169
Beginner to Intermediate All Mountain Freestyle
Flow started the whole quick release thing a few years back.  Some love it and some hate it.  The binding is well made, reliable and will last a long time.  Some don't like the large single ankle/toe strap that fit's over the majority of the top of your foot but others swear by it.  If you have pressure points there this might not be the best and you should look for a binding with a toe strap.  Flow also has very little shock absorption in their base plate and it has failed to evolve like many bindings have in the past few years.  We'd like to see Flow work on more response and try to allow the board to naturally flex.  If Flow could do that as well as have a quick release this would be a very cool binding.  If you are all about ease of access then the Flow Muse will be a good choice.

Flow muse bindings

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Ok they say silkie smooth with quick release - I say, I spent more time on my ass in the snow adjusting these bindings than the normal 2 strap bindings. The quick release is quick but it's not as quick or easy to get back into due to the friction between the sole of my boots and the dampening pads. They do hold your foot in nicely which comes though on the tight turns. The buckles feel cheap, as if they could break every time you ratchet in. Sorry guys overall I give these a 2.5 at best a 3. I will stick to my well known brands in future.
