Advanced to Expert Mostly Mountain to Freeride
2010 Backcountry Award Winner!

If you are an advanced to expert rider who likes groomers, speed, and steep terrain then you have found one of the best snowboards out there.  The Push is not for mellow advanced riders.  If you are an advanced rider and aren't trying every day to get to the next level then you might want a more mellow board. This is an absolute joy to carve and bomb groomers. The Push is more for aggressive advanced and expert freeriders who like speed, working to make a good turn and live for powder days.  The Push is a great balance between between stability/speed on groomers and very good camber performance in powder.  When we say camber performance it's very different than rocker.  It's going to do very well for a camber board so we give it a good rating but it will take more work than a rocker or hybrid board of the same shape.  We'd like to see them give this a little hybrid camber and rocker out the nose just a bit to make this an effortless borderline excellent powder machine.  That being said this is still a great traditional Freeride to mostly mountain snowboard that many will really like.  It would be ideal to have this and a powder board like the Burton Barracuda in a quiver.  For 2011 the Arbor Push made only minor adjustments to their winning design from 2010 so you should be good with either year. 2012 isn't much different from 2011 except for a few minor adjustments.

THE TOPSHEET
POWER PLY - Arbor’s bamboo Power Ply works like a 3rd layer of fiberglass. During construction resin locks the Powr Ply\'s dense natural fibers in place, creating a composite layer that structurally enhances a board for added return and improved durability.  Our Power Ply technology allows us to reduce our overall reliance on chemically treated fiberglass and petroleum-based resin by up to 20%, which also provides important weight reduction.  Arbor’s bamboo Power Plys is made from real bamboo, which is the most renewable, sustainably grown building material available today.  Bamboo also delivers that clean, Zen flavor.
BIO-FILM - Every board in the Arbor line is built with an ultra thin protective top foil made using 30% caster bean based bio-plastic.  This top sheet protects the board from damage caused by loose bindings, out-of-control skiers, or other unforeseen impacts.  Its natural glossy nature also eliminates the need for environmentally harmful clear coats.
THE CORE
MEDICINE CORE - Arbor’s most versatile core, built from 100% FSC certified, sustainably produced poplar.  Poplar remains the industry’s standard for reliable return and lasting durability
SHADOW FLEX - A slight tapered thinning of the core profile between the bindings, improves: turn and spin initiation; tracking in mixed conditions, on the flats, and during landings; and performance on rails, boxes, and jibs.
THE BASE
ROCKET BASE - A higher molecular weight, wax-infused sintered base that provides unmatched durability and speed.
THE SIDECUT
STANDARD PROGRESSIVE - A blended tri-radial sidecut design that provides tighter turning and quicker initiation, while maintaining stability at speed, when flat boarding, and during landings
THE SIDEWALLS
RHYTHM RAILS - Made from an advanced blend of ABS and urethane; delivers durability, a clean, acoustically damp ride, and solid edge performance.
THE GLASS
MIXED GLASSING - A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatile on-mountain and park riding.
THE INSERTS
2X4 14-PACKS - Provides both a wide stance range and amazing micro adjustability; used here to create Arbor’s Bella Stance, which has a max stance of 23.1\"/59cm
THE EDGES
RECYCLED STEEL - Built with hardened steel edges made using 60% recycled steel; provided maximum edge performance.
WARRANTY
TWO-YEAR - Every board in the Arbor line comes with a two-year warranty on material and workmanship.  We stand by everything we make.

Protecting the planet is about the environments we utilize everyday. We need clean air to skate, clean water to surf, and snow to ride.

STRUCTURAL BAMBOO TOPSHEET - Bamboo veneer not only creates a clean, Zen flavor - it also works like a 3rd layer of fiberglass.  During construction resin locks the dense natural fibers in place, creating a composite layer that structurally enhances a board, providing added return and durability, while allowing for important weight reduction.

FSC CERTIFIED WOOD CORES - All of Arbor’s wood cores are made with poplar that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as sustainably produced.  Poplar is still the best choice as a primary wood core material due to its combination of lighter-weight performance, durability, and availability.
