Continuous Rocker Twin
The BTX on the B Street is a different kind of ride and is even different than other rocker boards. The MTX in the center part of this board really changes the ride. It will hold an edge in almost any situation and also turn different than any type of board out there.  Many people instantly fall in love with this and some still prefer a different type of ride.  It's up to you to decide but we strongly suggest you try it if you can.  Out of all the rockered boards Gnu and Mervin (same company) are really pushing snowboard technology to the next level.  Get the B-Street if you are looking to ride in the jib park or street.  If you are looking for something outside the jib park this isn't your board.  There isn't much difference between the 2010, 2011 and 2012 B Streets. Each year there are little upgrades that make the board a little better but the ride is still the same.  One upgrade worth mentioning that makes the 2012 a little better is the base.  It's a little faster and easier to slide/ride on.

The Good Ride Take on Continuous Rocker
This is where it all started or re-started in the Mid 2000’s. In the beginning Continuous Rocker was mainly for park and powder. Today it's still pretty much made for the same 2 functions. There are a few boards that are made for all mountain to freeride use but most of those have migrated to hybrid shapes.  Continuous Rocker helps you maintain a catch free forgiving ride which is excellent for beginner riders or those who ride at slower playful speeds through the park.  Almost every one we have tried has to be on edge or it will wander giving you that squirrely feeling like a skateboard with loose trucks.  The biggest issue is it isn't very stable flat basing or one footing in firmer snow.  Continuous rocker is for the most part really poppy and helps you generate your own air.  There are many styles of this shape so this could be a good choice for beginners, park rats and people who only ride powder.

Always on a path of its own, the B-Street is offered for the first time in 2 graphics. Legendary Mervin artist Nick Russian created another female-inspired painting, full of color and passion. Eyes, lips, wings, flowers and of course a cat all come together in classic Nick style for this year, his 4th B-Street. Matt French also expressed his appreciation for the ladies in his own special way. Hot purple and green draw you in to this classic beauty and her wild feline. She's confident, graceful and totally mysterious; not afraid to take the lead and find her own path!

About the Art:

Nick Russian has an amazing appreciation for the hi-fashion female. The B-Street has been his canvas for the past few years and he has always delivered the most unexpected, beautiful, if slightly shocking, runway model-esque ladies to grace the boards. This years supermodel is a morph of several different beautiful people coming together into this collage of colors, abstract shapes, and body parts. Stepping into the B-Street feels like stepping onto the catwalk, all confidence and style, even if you are wearing a hat with antlers on it.
